I close my eyes, I breathe, and I see it a deeply unconscious metaphor that has been running my entire life. I see it so clearly in my mind. A pitch black room, so dark it feels endless. The kind of darkness that does not just surround you, but presses in on you. There is a bed sitting quietly in the room, barely visible beneath the heaviness of it all. And then there is the closet… And inside that closet, a little girl.A little me. She is frightened. Frozen. Curled tightly into herself as if making herself smaller might somehow make her safer. Her body is tense, her breath shallow,…

Some emotional patterns can feel almost offensive in how often they return. You think you’ve healed, grown, evolved, and done the work. Then one little trigger shows up and suddenly, boom, there you are again. Reacting. Overexplaining. People pleasing. Ruminating. I know that cycle well. Shadow work has been one of the most powerful tools for helping me understand what is really happening beneath the surface. It has helped me see unconscious emotions and repeated patterns not as failures, but as invitations to get honest about the parts of me that learned to hide, protect, suppress, or perform in order to survive. When I meet those parts with curiosity instead…

Last night, I stepped outside with a heaviness in my heart. It had been one of those days where everything felt too heavy. My thoughts were crowded with problems that seemed enormous, pressing in from every direction as if every worry had decided to speak at the same time. Maybe you know that feeling. The kind of day where your mind keeps reaching for answers, but every answer only seems to create another question. The kind of day where even silence does not feel peaceful because the noise is coming from inside you. But the moment I tilted my head back and looked up at the night sky, something inside…

Reclaiming your power begins when you decide to return to yourself. It happens when you stop abandoning your needs just to keep the peace, and start listening to the part of you that has been asking to be seen, heard, respected, protected, and chosen. November 1st, 2025 at 10:17pm, I got a text that said: “Your Uncle died today.” I reread it like my eyes were glitching. Like if I stared long enough the words would rearrange into something else. My uncle. Gone. Just… done. No more. Death is like that sometimes. Sometimes you feel it approaching, & other times it’s spontaneous. It just drops into your life. And even though I wasn’t extremely close with my uncle, I started crying immediately. Not just because he was gone… but because in that moment I felt myself coming face-to-face with something we all have to deal with eventually whether we want to think about it…

“Allow the full moon to shower you with feminine luster. You are the embodiment of lunar grace and starlight.” -Amy Leigh Mercree I have this strange, beautiful connection with the moon. I feel like she’s always there for me in some quiet way, bringing me comfort and reminding me of who I am and the power that lives within me. The moon has always fascinated me. The mystery of her. The way she changes shape without apologizing. The way she disappears and returns like she knows something we’re all still learning. Maybe that’s why she feels so comforting. She reminds me that growth doesn’t have to look the same every…

Kintsugi 金繕い is the art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with gold sometimes silver, sometimes even platinum. It doesn’t hide the damage. It honors it. It highlights the cracks, and somehow, what was once shattered becomes even more beautiful than it was before. Every time I sit with the idea of Kintsugi, I’m reminded of how we’re meant to hold our own cracks. Not as something to hide, to rush through, & never as evidence that we weren’t enough. But instead to hold them like sacred places, places where life cracked us open, so that we can make a choose to mend them with intention. If there’s one thing…

There is a fire in you. A sacred fire. It lives beneath your fear, your hesitation, your old survival patterns, and the parts of you that learned to stay quiet just to feel safe. It is the part of you that still knows. The part of you that still desires. The part of you that feels the pull toward something deeper, bolder, freer, and more alive. 🔥 Your inner power is not just soft, and it is not just fierce. It is a beautiful blending of passion, presence, devotion, confidence, truth, boundaries, love, and life force. It is the version of you that moves through life with conviction. The version…

On my healing journey, some seasons have felt beautiful and light filled. Other times, healing has looked like crying in my car, feeling completely thrown off by a trigger, or realizing I was still carrying pain I thought I had already worked through. That is one of the biggest truths I have learned healing doesnt always look like feeling happy all the time. It does not mean you never get triggered again. It does not mean you suddenly become a perfectly calm, fully evolved version of yourself overnight. More often healing is messy chaotic humbling & Deeply nonlinear. But over time, something does begin to change. You start noticing that…
